I am having serious problems sticking with any form of healthy habits at the moment and I am feeling particularly down. I am not a great believer in therapy, too expensive, seems like a waste of time, but I am coming to believe that I need some radical help with my eating problems so I am considering it as an option.
I don't know what is really the problem with me. I went through a very stressful time about a year ago when I changed roles at work and I found my new more demanding role taking a lot more time and effort than before. Now a year later I am more up to speed with things but still no end to the "rough patch". I feel stuck and unable to make a move. Maybe i am just stuck in my negativity and find it difficult to pick myself up (which I did not before). I am also worried about my sister going through some problems and my husband is not having a ball with his work situation either... like I said, stuck in a negative cycle.
So I was wondering if anyone had tried CBT or counselling in general for weight loss and what they thought about it.
