Why Haven't I Been Watching Closer?

Wednesday, January 30, 2013

I refuse to let some charts get me down. I thought I was tracking faithfully everyday. Yes, I did go a little high on the sodium a couple times. Otherwise I was/am doing great.

Not according to my charts. It seems not all of what I thought was recorded actually made it to my trackers. I've had posts disappear. I thought I was just forgetting to hit enter. Now I think it was the puter I was using. The one that won't let me post on my teams or get points for reading articles.

I'm glad I pulled up my charts for January to plan what improvements/changes to make in February. They looked like a zig zag of ups and downs, only being in range half the time. emoticon I need to check my chart daily from now on. I refuse to beleive they reflect how my month went.

I remain positive. My attitude, or as we say in Colorado, my altitude, is decidedly better. My energy has increased. I'm looking forward to adding up more NSVs (non scale victories) every day.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a sparktastic day wherever you are!

    Keep the positive attitude! :-)

Otherwise, I like data, so I can really check what's going on, my senses need to be really well trained to trust for small changes. Usually small changes are difficult to pick up by humans, that's what I read at several places.

I'm not sure what it is with IE and Spark but they don't always seem to get along. I've gotten into the habit of checking every meal/snack after in input the meal and then at the end of the day I get my nutritional report and really examine it to make sure it reflects what I believe it should and if it seems off, I go to the tracker and see what may be amiss. It's just become part of my daily routine now.

I love the term NSV's!! I have a friend who was frustrated with being on a plateau so this is a great term to use with her!! Congrats on all your victories, on scale or otherwise!! emoticon
