On Monday morning, just as I was piling the kids into the car for preschool drop-off, I got a text from a friend inviting to go for a walk. I quickly tossed the stroller into the trunk, dropped the kids off to school, and then T and I met up with my friend and her son for a walk. We walked (quick pace - I was sweaty) for nearly two hours. It was AWESOME!

Today the South has some less than awesome weather, so T and I are packing it up and heading to the gym. I need to run for at least forty minutes this morning, so I loaded up my ipod with a podcast and then some fun songs. Fingers crossed it goes by quickly - I really don't love the treadmill!

This week has been up and down in terms of my eating. Yesterday was great, and I stayed within all of my guidelines, and today's shaping up the same way. The weekend and Monday weren't so great though. Even so, I can't do anything about the past, so I'm focusing on making today another good day. One thing I have noticed (and maybe it's in my head), but eating half of a grapefruit with breakfast and lunch really help keep me full. I know that sounds weird, and yesterday I also made sure to have protein heavy meals, but I really felt good yesterday. So good, in fact, that I was able to walk through the bakery section of the market last night and not get that panicky feeling. It was pretty nice.

I'm looking forward to another day like yesterday!

    Oh that is so great. It's amazing how we adapt, both body and mind during this journey!
