TF Extended Pause

So my back still isn't doing well. It's better but not well enough to get back into Turbo Fire. I thought it was on Monday and did 20 minutes of Fire 45 EZ and then was in so much pain by the evening.

Since I am still lifting my 5 month off and on all day I am not completely resting my back. My husband thinks another week off workouts and I should be okay. And I have to agree. It's feeling really good this morning.

But it is just killing me to not work out. I am so motivated to lose this baby weight that not being able to workout is so hard. I also feel fat because I am not working out. So far I have only gained back 2 lbs by not being able to workout.

But my husband was saying to me last night - "look the weight just started coming off. And it will continue to come off once you work out again. But if you rush into it your just going to hurt you back more and then you may be forced to not workout for months. Hurting your back isn't something you play around with. Be patient."

He's right. So Monday I am going to try again with Week 4 in my Turbo Fire. So far every day my back is feeling better and better. I think taking another week off may be more beneficial in the long run for me. And I am still eating healthy and clean.

So..sorry to my TF challenge group...please keep up with your workouts. I am still here to motivate you and as soon as my back allows it I will be back.

    Hope you feel better soon girl! I know it is hard to not workout. But focusing just on diet could be a good thing :-)! I just gained 7 pounds while still working out. So diet is definitely more important than exercise. Can you still go on walks? That could help you feel better. If not hang in there. You will be able to workout soon ;-)

    Yup, that sounds like a good plan!

In order not to feel guilty about not working out, focus on eating well this week, it should help you feel proud of the efforts you are putting in towards your goal of loosing the baby weight.
