I love my city. It's beautiful, has lots of green space, great biking and running trails. It's pretty safe. Our water quality is amazing. Just to the west we can see the Majestic Rockies. It's one of the best places to live in Canada.
There is one thing that makes this city hard to live in. The very Chinook arch that brings us warm winds in the middle of winter, that melts the snow, dries the streets and lets joggers don shorts also brings pain.
When I first moved here 30 years ago, I noticed that I was getting more headaches...and stronger ones. Ones that caused me to go to the hospital. Headaches that made me wonder if I had a tumor. That's when I learned a not-so-well fact about this place. It has it's own Migraine Management Center.
Today's blog is short. Chinook is on its way. My head told me this last night.
This is what our weather forecast looks like this morning.
