Water, Water Everywhere! and Other Challenges

Yesterday's SparkCoach challenge was to carry a water bottle with you all day. It didn't specifically state you had to drink it, just carry it. Well, I did it and was surprised that I drank even more water than usual and was really surprised that I enjoyed having it with me. My only problem was that the kids wanted to drink from my bottle rather than theirs, so I had to have 3 bottles and keep washing them, especially since Gwen has a bit of a runny nose.

Yesterday morning I weighed 127.2, tieing my lowest weigh in of 2012, and just 1.2 pounds over what I call my "happy weight". I'm not sure that is what I should call it, because I can be happy at other weights, too. But I do like that feeling I'm beginning to feel, especially in the core, of being tight and lean!

Today's challenge involves thinking about and then writing long term goals. I'm going to have to give that one some thought. Maintaining around 126 may or may not prove to be a good long term weight goal, but I probably need some other life goals. Now that I'm retired I'm not as goal oriented, but it could be a good thing. Hmmm.....

    Once again, a fabulous role model for your grandchildren! Kudos they want to drink water too instead of juices or sweet drinks!! These challenges sure are giving you new things to think about!

    Funny how when we retire we aren't quite as goal oriented. I had so many goals my whole life....I like not having to have so many goals each day...loving the retirement!

  Good for you drinking more water! I crave water now after being a drinker (water) for the past 3 years. Glad you're experiencing the wonders of water too!
