So BeFit class was okay yesterday. The trainer we were with was sort of odd BUT he did keep making us talk about the exercises we were doing which actually did help me remember them. We just focused on doing some strengthening stuff. Thursday's class is supposed to be the full 1.5 hrs with our usual trainer (who was away on vacation)- I'm nervous! But, all in all, the program is helping me- definitely been more accountable with my food (but not perfect) and of course going to the gym more.
My classmate with the heart rate monitor burnt 180-something calories, so I counted mine as 160, even though I did spend ten minutes jogging and bouncing around the studio as a warm-up since the trainer was a bit late.
I would really like to pick up an HRM tonight or tomorrow before class. I found the one my classmate has on the Dick's website (which is where she said she got hers) and it's $90. I need to talk to Joe about it. It would be a good investment and it got almost 5 stars, I also believe it was recommended to my classmate (who I'll just call E. from now on lol) by Stacy, who is running the BeFit program. E. won't be in class on Thursday so I'll have no way of measuring my calorie burn! LOL. So I just wanna buy one. Hubby wants to buy an $800 guitar (story behind that, lol) when we get our taxes back, I think I can spend $90 on a piece of fitness equipment.
Anyway, my goal for the week is to lose 3 lbs so I need to cut back on snacking! I'm at 195 even right now which is .6 less than yesterday (yay water weight) but I really did snack a lot at work yesterday and at home before class. I MUST be more consistent with tracking in the evening. I'm going to really focus on that for the rest of the week and see how much it helps.
I also need to be more in touch with SparkBuddies because I suck at that! I blog a lot and log my fitness and weight but not much else. I am going to work on being a better SparkFriend!
Anyway, we had an hour delay today because of icy roads, so I don't need to leave for work for an hour and 15 minutes (been up 1.5 hours already, already bathed and made lunch) so I think I'm going to watch Prison Break. Hah! I'm so addicted...
