Happy Hump Day! It's going to be a wonderful day today. We have already broken the temperature record for the day and it's only 5:27 am! I am looking forward to getting some time outside today. I'll walk outside during lunch as long as it isn't raining, and will plan on getting the doggie out for a walk after work. Our temps are expected to be in the 30's tomorrow, so today is a bonus temperature day and we can't waste it!
I'm struggling with my weight right now, I can't seem to lose those last few pounds to get me far enough below my goal weight that I don't stress out every month for my Weight Watchers weigh in. Over the next 10 days I will be really looking at what I am doing, writing everything I eat, when I eat it and really pay attention to how I am feeling when I eat. That's certainly easier said than done. I've been living the healthy lifestyle since 2004. I got to my goal weight in 2006, slacked off a bit and got back to my goal weight in 2012 (I was about 15 pounds over my goal).
I am the only one who can do this for myself.
I make the choice of what I put in my mouth and what I don't.
I make the choice to exercise or not daily
I make the choice to have a positive frame of mind
I make the choice to be healthy!
Goals for today:
~ 80 oz water
~ 10,000 steps
~ keep an open mind
~ journal every bite
~ journal thoughts and feelings surrounding eating today
~ smile at least once an hour
~ learn something new and remember what I learned
~ eat a fruit or vegetable with every meal and snack
~ focus on this lifestyle I have chosen for myself and don't sweat the small stuff
