Day 107

Wednesday, January 30, 2013

Good evening all.

I woke up this morning having some cramping and discomfort in my belly, so I didn't tag along with Tami to the gym. It probably wasn't the best idea anyway. So tami took the kids and went to the gym for a light cardio workout.

One of the side effects of losing over 60 pounds, that I absolutely can't stand, is that I tend to be cold..A LOT! I was freezing all morning!! To the point that after Tami got home, I went and crawled in my bed to try and warm up. After I got a little warmer, I put on some warmer clothes. Tami took me out of the house today for a little bit. Still hurts to ride in the car a little. We went and had a coffee together, a skinny mocha. Then we distributed some of her Avon flyers to bulletin boards. She is just getting started and I really hope this takes off as we could really use the extra income. So if anyone is interested in Avon products send me a private message. Then we grabbed some stir fried veggies and a california roll for lunch and came home.

Again after lunch, I WAS FREEZING!! What did I do? I ran upstairs and crawled into my bed again LOL. Not much later and we had to go get our son from the bus. The rest of the day has been sitting here taking it easy. Tomorrow is study day for Thursday night meeting and if I can handle the pressure of the belt, I really need to charge my back implant, it is really low. Have a good night all!

I have issues with the cold too so wearing a quilted flannel shirt of my dh's, does the trick for the most part.

Moving is part of what helps you warm up....and you are not moving much in view of the recent surgery. You can also help your circulation and body temp with cayenne capsules. Take with food...and ginger to help protect your stomach from the heat! It works. Back when they were in high school, both of my daughters would have fingers go numb and turn white...and be painful. The cayenne really helped resolve that.

Hope you continue to feel better and better. It IS winter...good idea to dress in warm layers..better to have on more clothing and need to shed layers than not have on enough, get cold and end up with low resistance to all the germs.

I am glad you did not come with me for the simple fact that I don't think it would have been a good idea. Once you are better you'll kick butt at the gym again! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
