He Apologized.

Tuesday, January 29, 2013

He decided it a good idea to apologize last night. He wants things to get back to normal. He said he was hungry and tired. Just snapped.

Still a bit of fall out from the "bad tapes in my head". A bit better today.

I Muffin, just got caught up on your blogs, the one before this and this one and decided to comment here rather than on both (not much time) :-(

Anyway, I am so glad that he apologized (as he should) and that you are feeling better. I sure know what ya mean about the "bad tapes in your head" ... I think we have all had a bunch of bad stuff playing over and over again in our heads at times that seems so hard to shake loose - but we gotta shake it loose, Muffy, so it doesn't stick around forever. You did not deserve to be treated unkindly and your DH knew this even as the words left his mouth. Fortunately, he saw fit to try to make amends and although it isn't always easy to forgive, especially when we are somewhat fearful that it might happen again, I guess we do the forgiving as much for our own benefit as we do it for theirs.

Oh well, I am rambling tonight. Too tired to think - LOL. So just know that I think you are a rare and precious gem and your family is so very fortunate to have you with them!

    Love ya!

We all have faults and as long as we learn to do better, than we are all human.

Missed out on what he did, but good that he apologized.

There are so many people who are totally unwilling to apologize. What a blessing when it actually happens. Doesn't erase anything, but at least it is a step in the right direction.
