Motivation in spades.

I have been between 171 and 167 for like 6 months now. Working hard, but not hard enough to make any downward progress. But this is the month!!
Motivation #1: We are taking our kids on a surprise trip to Disneyland, which equals two-fold motivation - look good in the pictures and carry a little less weight around for 3 days of walking. It killed me last time, and we didn't even take kids with us!
Motivation #2: When we get back from Disneyland, Baby #4 is a GO. Which means that whatever I can lose before then really, really counts. The lighter I can go into this pregnancy, the better. I really want to have a healthier pregnancy!
Motivation #3: I'm part of a Facebook group of friends and random acquaintances that are doing a 30-day Biggest Loser. Everyone sent $20 to one person, and top three people with the highest percentage of weight loss split up the money. I don't expect to win, but it definitely adds that little bit of motivation.
So with all these motivating factors, I am trying to move more, get some good strength training in (ala Biggest Loser boot camp, mostly), and super super watching my calories. Lots of protein, low carbs, mostly avoiding sugar, lots of water, TRYING to eat fruits & veggies, stuff like that. And in the last 4 days I've already lost 3 lbs and saw the number 166 on the scale for the first time in 7 years!
I am so excited and am GOING to do this!
