I got an inexpensive DVD with Bob Harper the other day.
I wanted to mix it up a bit.
So tonight I tried it out. My daughter and I did the Bob Harper "Butt and Balance" workout - it's 20 minutes in length.
I want to rename it "Anything But Balance" because I really stink at this workout.
It is quite challenging.
And that's a GOOD thing.
It is going to take some time - maybe weeks, perhaps months - to get a bit more comfortable with this workout.
Then it was down to the rec room to do my best impression of The Hulk.
15 minutes of smashing a medicine ball to the ground, squatting down, picking it up and then repeating it again.
My daughter and I sometimes say "Hulk Smash" when we are smashing the ball. We liked the Avengers movies and so it makes it fun.
This is hands-down one of my favorite exercises because it doesn't seem like exercise.
But at the end, I'm sweating and definitely can tell I've worked hard.
Mixing it up is a good thing, as I wrote the other day.
I think this DVD & Medicine Ball Workout is going to be a good one to have in the rotation.
