I have been back on sparkpeople for a few weeks now, after not posting for several months. I have been keeping good tabs on what I eat, making sure I try to avoid high fat, sugar, carbs, etc. I weighed in this morning and discovered that I have lost 4 pounds over the last week and a half. I was starting to get discouraged, but this revelation has given me the encouragement to keep going. This makes me more intent on eating the right things so I can lose more.
The nutrition part of my weight loss goals is easy, but the exercise part is a little more complicated. I have a high-end elliptical machine and treadmill, but cannot use them due to my knees. I know if I drop a few more pounds it will take a lot of stress off my knees. Maybe when that happens I will be able to get on my exercise equipment and reach my goals even faster.
For now I just watch what I eat, maintain good glucose levels, and hope for the best.
