The children insisted on celebrating Stella's birthday at school today. I made her a cupcake by freezing canned dog food in a cupcake wrapper and sticking a candle in it. The children made angel food cupcakes for the human participants.



The children helped her blow out the candle. And of course, no one would take a bite until after she took her first bite. Everyone sang Happy Birthday.
