Definitely not a cook.
I'm still trying new things and today my new thing was a recipe called chicken tetrazini. I thought I was all prepared and had all the ingredients and cutlery ready and everything. Turns out I really didn't.
It tasted alright, but I knew that it had beef stock instead of chicken because I picked up the wrong packet at the shop, that the sauce was twice as watery as it should be because I remembered to half every ingredient except the water, that it had greek yoghurt and cottage cheese in place of cream to thicken it (that one's probably for the best) and that it had skinny spaghetti when it should have been ribbon pasta.
It's SO strange to me that I can try any baking recipe and it'll turn out pretty much perfect first time. But when it comes to cooking somehow I just can't get it right.
Maybe I'll stick to cakes and biscuits from now on : p
