Half Way There, Recognizing A Gift.

GOOD MORNING SPARK PEEPS! Can you tell I am in a good mood?!
Today was weigh-in day, and as I looked at the number I was sooo, happy! TEN pounds gone! Bu-bye! So long! Don’t let the door hit you on the way out!
And come you-know-what or high water, I will never see those ten pounds again. This puts me at half way to my first quarter goal. I am going to take pictures again, but later, because I am sweaty right now
and plan on getting even sweatier in about 45 minutes. I have to walk eight 33 gallon bags of recyclables about half a mile to the redemption center. That is going to be 4 trips and a good calorie burn!
In my last Blog, I told you about my closet shelf and clothes rod falling down. Well, yesterday I managed to get it fixed.
Here's what I started with.
This is the brace I put in that should have been there to begin with.
This is the finished closet. I have two of the shelf and rod supports evenly spaced out instead of just one in the center, like the idiots did. I had a difficult relationship with my Father growing up. (Another blog needed for that) There is one thing I am truly grateful for and will always cherish; he taught me how to use simple power and hand tools. I had the knowledge and the capability to not only do the repair myself, but to do it the right way. I may not have liked HOW he taught me, but I am glad that he did.
Here’s to continuing forward towards our goals, celebrating when we hit a goal, and for those of you out there in Spark Land having a rough time, focus on 1 good thing, and leave the bad behind. We are all here for you; all you need to do is reach out.
