Is it really only Tuesday?? Ugh........ It feels like this week won't end, but it just started!!! It's not a bad week, just long.
I was bad last night. I had bought some campfire candies from whatever group was outside of the grocery store on Sunday. Then last night I proceeded to sit down after dinner and consume the ENTIRE BOX. Yep. I did it. I was full before I finished it but I kept going.
But on the other end of things, I got up this morning - was very tired (per the usual) and was fighting to keep my eyes open on the drive in. I sat in my car for 10 minutes in the parking lot of the gym for a mini-nap. After my 10 min was up, I went into the gym and did my HIIT workout. It was the same one as last week and just as challenging. I am still sore from Sunday's run... so all movement is taking a little extra work! The important thing though, is that I got my workout in. 8 workouts in 9 days. All intense workouts. I know my body will be thankful for a break come Saturday!
So, I am doing really well with my workouts right now. I feel good about what I'm doing. I need to get on track with my eating though. Espeically right now because I know I'm not getting the fuel I need, hense my being so tired! I need to experiment to see what will make me feel the best/most full all day. I was thinking about adding a protein shake post-workout, but really I get enough protein without it, so I'm thinking maybe some 2% chocolate milk. Just 8oz, but something to put into my body right after my workout. If anybody else has any other thoughts I'd love to hear them!
Bottom line... keep up with the fitness, get back on track with nutrition!!
