My long term goal is to be able to run a marathon. I would like to be able to ride my bike on the bike trails at Arkabutla Lake. Of course, I want to feel good in a bathing suit. I want to feel good in my own skin. More than that I want to feel healthy and alive.
I want to have a healthy BMI which means that I should weigh no more than 167 lbs.
I will achieve this goal by first and foremost eating healthy most of the time. I realize that I will occasionally cave into my cravings and have chocolate or reese's or ice cream or pie but I will strive to eat healthy the majority of the time. I will exercise as often as I can. I have an elliptical, DVDs, dumbbells, resistance bands, a jump rope, and my own body. I have the basics to workout. I will use all of these to reach my goals. In the beginning, I will walk and use the DVDs the most.
I imagine that when I have reached my goal, I will run a marathon and feel amazingly excited at the end. I also imagine standing on a beach with my husband in a bathing suit and feeling beautiful.
I will benefit from working hard to reach these goals by being healthy and having more energy.
