THIS man:

Sang this song:

To me last evening, in the rain, while I faced the big hill mid-way through my walk. I marched right up that hill, singing and Ďdancingí until I reached the top, and kept on going! I donít often have celebrity crushes, but hoo-boy! Thatís just flat out.. yummy.

So yea. This is day one of my Paleo meal plan. I was a bit dubious about whether or not this would be enough food for me, and brought an extra banana, just in case, but I did not need it. I was nicely full without being stuffed after each meal.

The Cinnamon Apple Omelet was surprisingly tasty. I shared the recipe with a few folks and hope they tweak it and enjoy it!
The Egg Salad was supposed to be a Citrus Beef dish, but I didn't make the beef dish in time for lunch, so swapped in the Egg Salad real quick. It was very yummy, and while it was supposed to be wrapped in lettuce leafs, I ate it with zucchini sticks instead.
The Spaghetti was a delicious meaty tomato sauce over spaghetti squash. Mmmmmm!

Kids, I was satisfied, well fed, my mouth and tummy were happy, and it was mostly clean food except for the mayo. I have to learn to make my own mayo! And the chocolate, but I'll address that in another blog soon.

I had a great walk, in the rain, both at lunch at work, and once I got home after. I realized you don't have to just RUN in the rain to feel like a bad*ss, walking does it, too!

I just felt so good, doing the right things for my body and making sure I moved and got my steps and fitness minutes in. BLC is helping push me to do more than I would ordinarily, and that is awesome! So much so, I was determined to do an 80s workout video this morning before work. I just don't do that, people! But I did!

I'm ready for my Weigh In tomorrow morning. It's going to be so much better than last week.

On a different note.. some of you may remember last year when Sherry Arnold left her house in Sidney, Montana on January 7 for her morning run, and never came home. She was killed by random strangers who stopped her and ended her life for no apparent reason. The suspects have been arrested, and each faces one count of deliberate homicide and attempted kidnapping.

February 9, 3013, is the Second Annual Virtual Run/Walk for Sherry. Iíll be running that day, and hope you will get out and run or walk in honor of Sherry and as a reminder to always ALWAYS be safe.

Adam Levine is cute, but Johnny Depp is my all-time celebrity crush! Has been since 1987 and that won't ever change for me.

I'm so glad Sherry's killers have been arrested. Thank you for that update. I hope your run goes well. And yay for getting out there and walking in the rain. It's snowy and windy with temps in the single digits at night and in the teens during the day with wind chills below zero, so there's no way I'm going out to do ANY unnecessary walking. Even Pogo gets out, does his bizness and runs back to the house! We're both southerners, so we're warm weather creatures! Enjoy your outdoor time, especially by the water! I'm jealous. Love you anyway! emoticon

I love him! I know of another photo of him I've seen on Facebook, but so not appropriate for here! emoticon

That guy and that song might help me get up a hill, too! YUM! Great job on day 1 of paleo eating. If you have the omelet recipe handy, I would love a copy. Also, woo hoo for the 80s workout. Keep rocking and moving!

Very tasty morsels--um, I'm talking about the food, of course.

Well done, Candy! I'm starting a clean eating challenge myself on February 1, just for breakfast (the most that DH felt ready to tackle!) and looking forward to it. Also planning to do the virtual run for Sherry as well, I hope many do it again this year.
