Been MIA for a bit!

I've gone a lil off course the past week or so. Im so bummed. I had gotten to 60 days straight of tracking my food and I missed a day awhile back and it had me starting all over. Such a bummer. Well, its okay. There's still days ahead of me. I need to work on not letting minor set backs derail me. I had a bad weekend, and then a few social events I had to go to involving food, then I had a bad hangover day that just totally floored me. I don't drink very often so I don't have to drink much to be completely out of commission the next day. I think Im gonna lay off the sauce for quite awhile after that ordeal. *shivers* At least until I'm closer to where I want to be. Hangovers are huge trigger for binge eating for me. There's just something about feeling crappy that makes me want to eat crappy.. then I feel crappier?! So strange how the knowledge of this does nothing to stop me! Haha.. oh how I loathe my shortcomings sometimes...
Well here's to getting back on the healthy train. Im sure I gained a couple pounds with the week or so I've had, so Im not going to weigh in until this weekend. Plus I'm getting a scale! I have a bit of money and I don't think Im going to find my scale in the storage unit that is my garage. It's "tetrised" in there somewhere Im sure, I just have no idea where to even start...

    Oh yah, sounds like what I've been doing on track off track. Everyday is a new day and we are getting better at it I am convinced! It's just part of the journey emoticon

    emoticon Glad to hear that you are back on track! It sounds like you have learned a lot about yourself and have a good plan. I love your idea of waiting a bit to weigh yourself and buying a new scale. emoticon

    You made the right choice to continue. We ALL have days and sometimes weeks where our plans derail, but each meal/snack is a new chance to start over!
