Feeling Good.

I am almost done with the first trimester of my first pregnancy. I was feeling so tired EVERY day and dragging. I was (and still am, I admit) sleeping until 10am-12pm each day. I am waking up and doing nothing and going to work, going through the motions. I am starting to feel like my old self today. I feel good. I made macaroni salad today, and pumpkin muffins the other day. I think cooking is making me feel more energized and like my old self.

I had my first ultrasound and got to see my little bean do a dance on the screen! That little heart is beating so fast. I can't wait to meet him or her! I got dressed today, which is a feat in itself for me as of late, and I even may go for a walk! The weather is wet but unseasonably warm today. It may be in the high 50's or even low 60's. I think I might try out my walking shoes and go for a walk.

Initially, I wanted to walk an hour a day for my whole pregnancy! Wow, was I wrong about how I'd feel! I was lucky not to be cursed with morning (or anytime) sickness. I have been suffering from major tiredness instead. I am hoping that I am coming out of it now.

Anyway, hope you all are well! I have missed all my beloved Spark friends over the past couple of months. I will try and post some more on here as things with my pregnancy progress. Cheerio!

    Thanks for the update......glad you are feeling better. Yes listen to your body and sleep when it needs it and drink lots of water as it produces the m ilk later on. Oh how exiciting, I remember the day I got my ultrasound and it very clear what the sex was......I wanted to know and so did my husband.

    Walking is the best thing you can do for the pregnant you and your dear little. I walked all the way thru both of my pregnancies and it made me feel awesome! Pregnacy does make you very tired but activity really helps to wake you up.
