Goal #1: MET!

My first goal of this second trip through spark people was to get to my first trip starting weight. I felt like once I did that, it would be a true reset. Well, today, I made it there....actually, past there by a pound! It feels good to have 12.5 lbs gone in less than a month, and to have the momentum of that first goal being met to keep me going.
To go along with it, today was a pep rally, so I wore jeans and a school shirt to work. My selection of GHS gear has been limited in the past few years because I no longer fit comfortably in many of my tshirts. On a whim, I dug one of the mediums out of the bottom of the drawer, and though a tiny bit snug, it fit and looked good.
I've set Goal #2 to be my half way point, so another 10 lbs. This one may take longer, as my body will start burning fewer calories to live the more I lose, but I'm ahead of pace to meet my ultimate goal by June 1st, so some hiccups and/or plateaus will hopefully not be too demoralizing.
