Don't have time? Make time

Tuesday, January 29, 2013

I always say that I will run after work before dinner. But with 4 childern it is not always easy to break away especially when all they want to do is hang out with mommy.

I have been walking everyday on my lunch hour. But I have decided to start running. Today is my first attempt. And I can't wait I miss running so much.

I walk to Leslie Sansone DVD's -- great at any fitness level and she is so motivating. You can just do one mile (about 15 minutes tops) first thing in the morning! And, your kids can do the DVD's with you! You can go to her website and watch a video if you want to try before you buy one! Just a thought! I've been using them for years -- I feel so blessed that someone told me about them years ago -- I know that's what helped me to lose and what has kept the weight off for me! :-)

    Run, girl, run!!

I try to use the crockpot several times a week, so dinner is already basically prepared and I can get in a run. Maybe that is an idea you can use.

I have three boys and they are the same way! I can't get anything done in the evenings. That is why I do my workouts in the mornings. But I wish it was warmer so I could go walking/jogging. I try to get them active with me in the evenings, I'm just having a hard time with it being so cold.

My kids are the same way. We take walks sometimes or ride bikes together. It's really good for them to learn to be active as well. And we still get time together doing something we enjoy.
