My first goal for this year was to change my tracker to a maintenance tracker rather than my old "goal" tracker. My plan was to do that by my birthday at the end of January. I was hoping to get to the lowest end of the range before switching but I didn't quite get there. Nevertheless, I think it is more important to change my mindset from trying to reach an arbitrary goal and instead focus on maintaining what I've accomplished. I feel comfortable with my current level of health and fitness and that is all I am looking for. It seems silly that something minor like using a different tracker can have such a powerful influence but it does. I feel much more confident that I'm not going to yo-yo back up to where I had been. There are no guarantees but every little bit helps. Maintenance, here I come.
