I made such a lovely pasta sauce last night made with ground turkey, olive oil, sea salt, cracked black peppercorn, thyme, basil, oregano, sauteed yellow onion and green bell peppers, Safeway brand diced tomatoes (no salt added variety), and del monte traditional spaghetti sauce. I let it cook down for about an hour to make it a lot less watery and it turned out really good. I made some spaghetti and sprinkled just a touch of grated parmesan cheese ontop. I love being Italian! lol.

My back is still hurting... it was a real chore trying to wash dishes and make dinner last night but I managed. My boyfriend brought me some extra strength pain pill and it didn't work and he was surprised because it was pretty heavy duty. I've noticed that a lot of pain pills do not work on me. My back still hurts even with a mild muscle relaxer :( I wish I could just magically be better. Having back pain makes it hard to find a job and most jobs are jobs where you stand for 90% of the day which I am currently unable to do. My boyfriend suggested getting on temporary disability but I'd much rather have a job.

I'm just glad the boyfriend is working... before we were surving barely on financal aid from school which was a real stressful time. We are trying to save up for a car because ours is on its last leg and is sucking up gas like crazy and has horrible gas mileage. I hope in the next three months we might have enough saved up for the down payment on a Chevy Aveo.

I agree your dinner last night sounded yummy! A few weeks ago I bought some Jennie-O's sweet italian sausage and basically did the same thing. It was wonderful!!

Hope you find something that relieves the back pain soon! Take good care!

Your sauce sounds yummy! I occasionally use turkey or chicken Italian sausage in mine for a little different flavor. However, I'm nowhere near patient enough to let it simmer for a hour!
Sorry to see your back is still bothering you. Hope you're able to find a solution.
