Same weight today

For some reason my body is trying so hard to stay at 111. that's a pound over my goal of 110. I am eating around 1200 calories and am learning that that might be the caloric intact to just maintain. I am not stressing at all over's just one pound and I am eating healthy and that's more important to me as I age. I would just like to be at a healthy weight and still enjoy my meals but most of all feel good. Have the energy to do the things I like to do. I am still going to continue on and see if I can't get a little under the goal of 110 for super bowl Sunday. I am going to make a chicken Caesar salad for the main meal for everyone. one of my neighbor's birthday always is around the super bowl so we get a cake for him and celebrate. He requested my homemade ceasar salad so that made me feel good. and the Caesar salad will also work for the other neighbors who are doing the Atkins diet. So everyone should be okay with the meal. Are you all going to a super bowl party?
It's bright and sunny here in central Mexico so I am off to walk the doggies their 3.5 miles.

    For a few months, I held pretty steady from day to day. Tight control of calories, eating similar things each day, and having a similar exercise routine meant changes were less than a pound, usually 0.2 or 0.4 pounds from one day to the next.

Now, I weigh less the day after I run. The change might be a pound, or even 1.6 pounds. I also weigh more the mornings after days when I drink less water. ("Less" = 10 cups instead of 12 or 15, and not as much of that in the evening.)

While I can identify some of the causes of the short term weigh changes, there are times when the weight goes up or down from one day to the next for no reason I can identify. I just have to learn to deal with that. I might never know why my body changes from reacting one way to reacting another; but if I can recognize when the change isn't significant, I don't need to let it upset me.

Perhaps you're experiencing one of those unexplained changes in how your body reacts, or perhaps your body needs more time to recover from stuff it didn't like about the last week. Whatever the reason, I'm sure you'll figure out a way to deal with it.

    Just keep eating healthy and 1200 calories and I bet you'll be back to 110 or below al of a sudden. As far as Super Bowl goes, we usually watch it. This year I'll have both the 2 year old and the 5 year old, as both parents work that day. So I'll probably see a little of it between playing with blocks and reading stories and getting juice and all that!!

    And don't forget . . . the body always goes in "cycles" . . . at least mine does. It'll be up for 3 days, then back down. As long as it's not more than 1 lb., I wouldn't sweat it.

    You were up from the balsemic vinegar - the inflammation can last up to 72 hours according to Lyn-Genet, eat some low reactive foods and it will settle down again. I'm still dealing with bloat from the tortilla 3 days ago :(
