Long days.

Sorry I haven't been on to update. My health score meeting didn't go to well at the gym. My BP is high...very high. 155/89 and resting heart rate was 89.
I am going back in for more tests tomorrow to see how to get my heart rate in a fat burning range and then we will work on more cardio. My fat content is way too high. I also plan on doing another test that will tell me when to eat what and what time to take certain vitamins. Have I said recently how much I love my gym?!
We really need to work on getting my body fat down, hopefully that will help my heart rate and BP. Honestly my stress levels going down would also assist that. :) My biggest issue is all my fat is on my waist...ALL of it. That is not helping my heart rate one bit.

I am signing up for the Firefly run with the SparkPhoenix team. I am so excited!!! Running was my favorite thing to do before the accident and due to it I had to start training just for a 5k all over again. But the run isn't until April so I have plenty of time. Whoop!

My goals yesterday...
Did I make healthy food choices? Yes! Dinner wasn't amazing but I stayed within all of my ranges! Slightly low on my calorie intake.
Was I physically active? Darn skippy! 20 minutes on the Elliptical and 25 on the treadmill! Plus upper body strength training!
Did I feel/act motivated? 100% :D
Did I stick to the program? Yup!

Sunday I was really down in the dumps, but I go over the hurdle saying to myself "This can be changed" and have been doing great ever since. Every day is a new day, you make what you can with it.
Can't wait to get a run in tonight!

Have an amazing day Sparkers!
Much love!

That is awesome that your gym is so informative! I've never been to one where they did that. I have blood pressure issues also, and have for awhile. Here's hoping that diet and exercise helps the both of us!

    Great Blog!

I think it is great that you were able to get so much information at your gym. Since you are going to be there so often anyway, tracking should be pretty easy. Congrats on using the resources available to you and for such an upbeat blog. (I love the Darn Skippy part). emoticon
