too busy to relax?

"I have so much to accomplish today that I must meditate for two hours instead of one."



Wow! Wise words, I'm going to try this. Rest and meditation are even more important to keep us going when we seemingly can't spare the time to rest and rejuvenate.

Some people say that about running, too. That it's easier to become a stronger runner if you take rest days instead of over-training.

    I'm visiting beautiful countryside today and going for a long walk, so I'll be getting my activity and relaxation in one. Visiting the Peak District is good for the soul.

    There is no doubt that you must embrace recovery days. That is when you actually become stronger! It's also essential to take care of your body no matter how "busy" you are. Time management is essential. The alternative will permanently negate any busy schedule! Stay strong and focused.

    Hmm, very interesting thought. I haven't been making much time for relaxation lately, but I figured some time is better than no time. Maybe I should change my thinking to MORE time is better, and let the other stuff slide. Thanks for this!
