Ok, so I generally don't look forward to weigh-in day, but after 2 weeks of steady decline of 2 lbs per week, I wasn't that hesitant this morning.

So I went in, stepped on that scale this morning and looked in disbelief at the number. I have GAINED 1.6 lbs this week. emoticon

Ok, so I ate a little more Saturday than normal and was 36 calories over my upper limit, but every other day I am generally between 1200-1400 - where my upper limit is 1550. I started this program 1/8 and during that time I have been over my calories 3 times and under them 3 times.

I'm not giving up, by any means, but to know that I am working out 4-5 times a week with Zumba, 3-4 times a week with strength training and 3 days a week with core ball exercises frustrated doesn't even come close to describing how I feel this morning!

    Ok I know this is a weird comment but here it is anyway! If you didn't eat veggies or fiber on friday last week then your track can get a little backed up and therefore you will show a gain even though you ate the way you were suppose to. Eat some broccoli and keep up the good work and next weeks weight in will show you a good jump! LOL I know it's a weird subject but I notice when I eat more processed foods and no fresh veggies this is what happens to me. But Broccoli is natures broom! emoticon

    Sometimes we just have a gain. It is all part of this weight loss journey we are on. Our bodies can be very fickle. We can never know how they will respond to certain things. Maybe it wasn't the amount of calories, but what you ate. Try going back and looking at other journals to see how one differed from this past week.

Keep at it! I have been on this weight loss journey for a couple of years and even though my results are not as significant as others, I feel good about the healthy lifestyle choices I am making. Is there anything you did particularly well this week? Maybe a non-scale victory?? I find that even if I didn't have a loss at the scale, I can find something to celebrate that I did well, like eating fruits and veggies!

    There are always ups and downs. Keep on working and you'll see some results.
