Exodus 20:15
"You shall not steal."

Hello guys and gals.
I forgot to tell you guys that my weigh in was day before yesterday. Drum roll please, I weighed in at 282.2. That is a 3.2 pound loss in one week. I am glad to see a decrease instead of an increase like last week. I took my measurements today, and I was 1/4 of inch smaller in my waist, 3/4 of inch smaller at my hips, 1/2 an inch smaller at my thighs, and a little over 1/2 an inch smaller in my arms. I guess you can say I lost 2 total inches, this week.

Yesterday was a long day. My wife had to take Asher to the doctor because of his temperature. They did chest x-rays, a blood draw, a catheter, and gave him a shot of medicine. That poor child was poked and prodded all over yesterday. Well the doctor seems to think that he has a virus. He is doing better tonight but it was a battle getting him to eat and drink. I hope that he is able to sleep tonight.

Commandment #8 "You shall not steal!" This is simple. Do not steal. If it does not belong to you then leave it alone. I had some things stolen from me in the past and it didn't just make me mad, it made me upset. How can someone take from someone else? I know of times that even us Christians steal. Sometimes without knowing it. How many times have you taken a pen after signing a receipt, or unintentionally walked out of a store without paying for something? Do you return them, or go back and pay for the item? If you don't you have broken commandment #8.

Lord I want to thank You for Your word and the guidance to bring this word to my friends. Lord I ask that You let us be mindful of all things that cause us to sin, and help us to improve on them. Lord I also ask that You would continue to give me the strength to keep exercising and eating right. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen

I hope Asher is well soon, too. This is a good lesson, and I agree with what
WALLAHALLA said about stealing someone's reputation. There are more ways than one to steal. I too have had looks of amazement when I returned to a store with an item I was not charged for, or when I pointed out incorrect change where the store would have lost money.

How many times have we stolen someones reputation or good name, by speaking out of anger, or repeating something we heard? Is that not also stealing?

I have had cashiers look at me like I am crazy when I tell them I received too much change. It's not mine. I cannot keep it

congrats on your weight loss and I agree with the 8Th commandment. If I accidently leave the store without paying I go back in and pay. Sometimes the cashier asked if I am crazy coming back in after getting away with it. I just smile and say this does not belong to me until it is paid for. It is the right thing to do. Have a great day and I hope Asher feels better soon.
