Well, I was a little late getting started on my New Year's resolution but it's been a little over a week and I have lost 4 pounds! I've been through this weight loss business so many times that I know 4 pounds a week will not be the norm, but I'm happy with the progress.
The hardest part for me right now is telling people why I'm doing it or why I'm not eating this or that. If I had my way I wouldn't let anyone know until I showed up with 50 pounds dropped, but that seems impossible. What is it with people who give you a hard time about trying to lose weight? They'll lecture you about being over weight, but then when you try to change they give you a hard time about it.
I know no one is really reading this, but I'm curious what everyone's thoughts are on heart rate monitors? I trust Sparkpeople but I just feel like I'm not burning as many calories as they say I am. I don't have a lot of money spend and I know heart rate monitors can get pricey, do you think it's worth it?
