So I woke up today on the wrong side of the bed, Starbucks had run out of oatmeal, had a bad headache at work, depressed about my ex having a fiancee, and the list goes on. Today is also the first day I've been on track food wise in a little bit. As soon as I came home from work I changed into my comfy as ever pajamas and made my healthy dinner. I usually work out at least a few times a week but since the food had been less than admirable lately, so had the gym. I was thinking "Well, today is my day to get back on track with eating and the gym can start tomorrow." BUT....
I won the battle in my head and I WENT TO THE GYM. Why the f#&! not?? Why shouldn't I get back on track with both at the same time?
And you know what? That workout turned my entire day around. I feel better physically, I can't stop smiling, I am motivated, I am positive, (and couldn't care leas about the ex!)... That workout took me from a 3 all the way to a 10!
My guess is it will even carry over to tomorrow. So I'm writing this blog to remind myself (and you) inthe future to stop making excuses and just do it. Why the f$ not??
