emoticon What did I think when I made up my menu for dinner?
My stomach has been shrinking and the volume of food I eat at each meal is getting less than before SP.
But did I consider this tonight....Noooooo emoticon
I had intended to eat 4 oz. of steak, only had 2 oz.
I ate the spinach, broccoli, celery and brussels sprouts...came to
about 3 cups. Then I started to growl softly like a upset black momma bear!
I ate too much!!! emoticon
And I hadn't even had my yam yet!!!
I forced it down, because I wanted the potassium it provides.
Well, I'm glad none of you can hear me....I'm still growling, huffing at myself from the back of my throat....sounding like a ticked off bear roaming out in the backwoods.

The only good thing I can say at the moment is that I stayed within my calorie range and did quite well with my carbs, fats, protein...etc.

Sure is a different scenario from pre Jan1/13. I could eat until the cows came home, and if you asked me to go for a burger at Mickey-D's....I would say no problem.

    Your menu looks perfect to me! Protein and veggies are pretty much my favorites and my body does best on them. Having your need for larger portions dropping is natural, and you will begin to adjust them accordingly. The transitions can be a little rough sometimes. Keep up the great work!

    On the bright side, what you ate too much of was the veggies and not the meat. So inspite of how you feel from overeating, at least it was the "good" stuff.
