Ds stayed home today from school. He woke with really bad tummy pains. I was worried with the Noro Virus floating around. Thankfully it was his "normal" tummy issues. Nothing a relaxing morning and good dump can not take care...LOL I know TMI....LOL
The blessings in disguise... he and I got along the WHOLE day. I did get upset with him, but I did not yell. I just made sure how it hurts when he uses me. He got the hint and made better choices. We prepared dinner together. We made a pork tenderloin with dry rub I got from Carla Hall on The Chew.
I made homemade mashed potatoes (all lactose free) and then fresh green beans with caramelized onions and gravy. All the 2 of the 3 kids and dh loved dinner. It is a keeper in my house. Ds was really funny He measured the spices, mixed, and rubbed the pork. He was so happy rubbing and touching raw meat. I of coursed taught and showed him how to really wash his hands and clean his nails to get all the spices off.
We read two stories together. Played Mario Bros., he showed me his Sonic files, and we watched Rachael Ray and The Chew together.
I am so happy for this unexpected time with him.
