I just spent 35 minutes with Leslie and Nicole

Day one of the 8-week diabetes workout plan. Boy am I out of shape - but it felt good to get started. emoticon

I did a 15 minute 1 mile WATP to warm up and then did Coach Nicole's 20 minute Band workout. It should have been the 15 minute desk workout, but I know there are some of the moves in that video that I find difficult because of my hip. I'll try that one near the end of my 8 weeks. emoticon emoticon

So thank you again Leslie Sansone and Coach Nicole. I can do these at home, no trips to the gym since I can't afford a membership and I feel comfortable in my own environment.

Had a good day today, fairly normal at work. One of my coworkers brought in some home made cupcakes loaded with icing. I was able to resist - when I was tempted I just decided to steer clear of the break room for the day.

Stayed on track with my planned meals and snacks for today and recorded everything in my nutrition tracker. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I like the Spark inspiration slide below, it's a good reminder when I get impatient.

    Sounds like you've found exactly the right thing that works for you! I'm a home exerciser, too - for the same reasons you listed. Sounds as if you're really on track - confident and aware and following through!

    Aah, Leslie, one of my fave people to hang out with these days. Had to rein back on Nicole a bit cos of the pneumonia recovery thing, but Leslie has been most helpful. :-)
