Day one of the 8-week diabetes workout plan. Boy am I out of shape - but it felt good to get started.
I did a 15 minute 1 mile WATP to warm up and then did Coach Nicole's 20 minute Band workout. It should have been the 15 minute desk workout, but I know there are some of the moves in that video that I find difficult because of my hip. I'll try that one near the end of my 8 weeks.
So thank you again Leslie Sansone and Coach Nicole. I can do these at home, no trips to the gym since I can't afford a membership and I feel comfortable in my own environment.
Had a good day today, fairly normal at work. One of my coworkers brought in some home made cupcakes loaded with icing. I was able to resist - when I was tempted I just decided to steer clear of the break room for the day.
Stayed on track with my planned meals and snacks for today and recorded everything in my nutrition tracker.
I like the Spark inspiration slide below, it's a good reminder when I get impatient.
