Arm Hurting Tonight, New Class, and Letter To Write

Monday, January 28, 2013

Well my arm is sore now from shoveling and chiseling snow off the side walk. We got another two inches dumped on us. I am in a new class this week called Communications and The Media.
On Sunday I have an essay due on the history of the media and how they afected culture. Hmm. I am thinking should I tackle the way the press handled the recent presedential race or should I tackle how on a lot of the television shows or movies everyone is young and skinny? I know some have heavier people on but most of them are not. Is there a bais against heavier actors? I have to look up 2 sources from the library or a website. Tomorrow I will have to write a letter to my sister. I am not writing directly to her but going through my other sister; who I know holds nothing against us. She can read it and then show it to my other sister. My daughter was told to keep out of the arguement between us; but she is member of the family and she was attacked too. It is her grandmother; she is very depressed now. Using emails as a form of communication is allright as long as a person thinks about what you are going to say before you say it. Too many times people have been hurt by others who simply lashed out at them in anger through an email. I myself prefer writing letters; you don't have to hurry up and write it; you can take your time thinking about what you want to write.

God bless you, Laura. You're showing Christ-likeness in the way you're handling the problem with your sister. I'm praying for yoy and Jenny.

Good luck with the new class. The essay sounds interesting. Be sure to let us know which direction you'll be taking.

May your arms recover from all that lifting, and may you enjoy the heck out of that class, it sounds great!

Good luck with the letter. If it comes from the heart and a place of good, you'll know you did your best, no matter the outcome.
