I made it to the gym today, like I committed to yesterday. I could have waited until Wednesday, or cut my run a little short as I am feeling that muscle again. It isn't as bad as last week though, so I am just going to keep pushing forward. I ran for 45 minutes, pedaled for 16 minutes and did a full body ST workout. I just remembered several ST moves I forgot to track. oops, gotta go back and add them. It felt good to follow through on my plan today... and then I came home and put in 35 minutes on the rower. Also walked the dog three times today, did some jumping jacks and hooped a little. I finished the January Jumpstart Challenge today by doing the video twice. Definitely heavy on the fitness activities today with over 400 minutes.
Foodwise... I am light on calories so far today. I will have a fairly large snack in just a little while, so I don't wake up in the middle of the night ravenously hungry. I am going out for lunch with a friend tomorrow, so I guess it is okay if I run a little low today. I am daydreaming about jambalaya for lunch tomorrow, so I might go over a little tomorrow. lol!!
My SIL was recently diagnosed with MS, and she has to go for a lumbar puncture on Wednesday morning, but her older daughter has an appointment (in the opposite direction) that morning as well. So... Auntie Do-Dah (that's my nickname) will be driving one niece to her appointment. I should still be able to make it to the gym though, as her appointment is at 9am. It means I won't get to walk Cooper in the morning, but he will go out to my parents' where he will undoubtedly get walked. Flexibility can be a good thing when it comes to plans.
It was quite warm (for January in WNY) today, and it rained on and off all day, so all the snow is melting. I just hope it completely melts before the next cold front comes through, so the ice stays manageable.
