Spark Menu: Day 4

Yuck. Not very good food and not very much of it. I have been hungry almost all day. I was excited about supper. Hot meal. I thought we were having a skimpy lunch because we were going to get to eat more tonight. Wrong. 1/2 servings of everything - the cabbage rolls, the corn, the cornbread. The only thing I had a full serving of was milk. There sure is a pile of dirty dishes in the kitchen for no more than I got to eat. emoticon

There had better be some celebrating on the scale Saturday. Food wise, this was a hard, miserable day.

    I usually weigh in on Saturdays. I enjoyed the meals today a lot more. I think I might be coming down with the stomach virus that's going around. My menu tomorrow may consist of 7 Up and crackers. emoticon I hadn't thought about the cornbread connection. I was just thrilled to see it on the menu. Pinto beans sound good. I never learned to drink buttermilk. I love to cook with it.

    I've discovered any day that includes cornbread means that all my other food has to be skimpy! So I skip the cornbread (unless I have a big bowl of pinto beans....yum!) Dangit! Now I want pinto beans, greens, cornbread, and a big ole glass of buttermilk! LOL!
Sorry it was a bad day for you. It's no fun feeling deprived. What day do you usually weigh-in?
