I flew into town today, and am setting myself up for success. I met some old friends for lunch, but I was late... so rather than delay our "catching up," I just sat with them while they ate, and got a little something afterward. They didn't seem to mind, and we were chatting anyway!

Then I went to the grocery store for my week's food. (At the deli: "Three slices of cheddar, please.") I have apples and sandwiches for each day and a plan for each night. Later this week I will meet a friend for dinner, but it's my favorite restaurant in the WHOLE WORLD and I already know what I'm going to order -- my favorite dish, obviously -- and it's a handy split to make lunch for the next day. Mmmmmmmmm!

I also bought some herbal tea at the store. I have been drinking it when my mouth wants to do something, but my stomach is not hungry and I can't handle the caffeine. Long nights working and hotel rooms can turn me into a monster that eats anything available, so this should fend off any binges.

I am just really excited to be doing so well for so long. Yay, me!
