Last week’s goals included 135 minutes of cardio. I did 180 minutes. Additionally I completed strength training on two days, as was my goal. As this website considers those minutes too in determining my calorie ranges, it keeps giving me warnings about too much exercise and not enough food.
By the way, I think my calories were ok. In fact, my weekly average was on target with the suggested ranges. That means I’m 75% complaint for the year! The averages are near the top of the range, though.
Last week my WII said I lost zero pounds. I haven’t gotten my official weigh in since my TOPS meetings have been cancelled most of January. I’ll see my real progress on Thursday, when we meet again. Then, I can figure out if I should aim to be a little lower on food consumption. In the meantime, I will update my projected cardio minutes so that SP doesn’t warn me again. It feels like a reprimand, and that’s no fun.
One more thing about last week: I went swimming! It was only 20 minutes and my shoulder isn’t 100%, but it was great to be back in the water. Also, I did a few light sets of upper body strength training exercises and I think it is helping too.
Last week, one of my goals was to review my 401k and other financials. I didn’t do that. Instead I ate out for dinner on Saturday and Sunday and went to online classes that are for fun. (Language and communications) Maybe I need to reassess all these class I take. My husband says I bite off too much and then get stressed out and take it out on him. That is why I didn’t take one class I really wanted to take at Chabad. I really, really wanted to take it, but I made the wise choice as there is no time. My community college classes start next month, and while they mostly help my with my fitness goals, they take up time too. I need to consider if these classes are doing more harm than good.
This week’s goals:
180 minutes of cardio spread over 5 days.
2 x week lower and easy upper body strength training
Average calorie range for the week is within range.
Pack lunch 3 x week.
Eat three fruits/vegetables 3 x week.
Think about how I spend my time. M.b. I need to take a class about time management.
