Investing in myself!

Monday, January 28, 2013

I work a high stress job that requires a MEGA amount of organization. I have been resisting going to buy some folders, etc., because I didn't want to spend my miniscule amount of discretionary income after my loan payments are made on stuff for the office. And so, I did nothing. Didn't bother to organize, just figured I'd "make do" with the status quo.

Well, last night I got sick of it and went and grabbed the supplies I needed. I was 100x more productive today because of it, and sliiiiightly more relaxed, too. I can't believe I waited this long to make my life so much easier.

The same principle applies to items I need to maintain my health routine. Need two decent sports bras so you aren't constantly doing a wash? Get them. Need some sweat-wicking clothes so that you don't have heat rash every time you work out? Invest. Measuring cups and scale for food? Definitely.

Why? Because investing in ones health is THAT important. No excuses taken.

Well said and oh so true. I have loads of socks, tops and shorts. Socks and work out bra things are from Walmart. I have a harder time finding workout shorts but have them too. They last a long time and are well worth it. You go girl!
