I couldn't think of a clever title for this blog! So, no freezing rain today. Just rain, so I made it to Curves and had a good workout. It looks like come my weigh in on Wednesday I'll be down another pound. Unless I go crazy over the next day and a half! I found some Blue Diamond Toasted Coconut Almonds and boy are they good! A serving is 28 nuts and 160 calories and 13 g. fat, but that is good fat. But, I only eat 14 nuts for a snack. They are delish! Not good if you are doing low carb. I think they have 7 carbs.... Can't remember. They are yummy and a nice filling snack and better yet, they are portable! So, Tina gave those sweaters to her daughter and her daughter just called to ask for my dad's phone number to thank him. she said they fit wonderfully and with 3 kids she rarely gets new clothes, so they were needed. That made me feel better about Dad's choice. She was grateful and took the time to call. That is more than Tina does b/c somewhere in tina's mind she feels she deserves all this stuff people give her. My MIL is sick again. Stomach issues. I feel certain it is a result of her negative life view and constant worrying, judging, and being nasty. She is also very sore, but won't go to the chiropracter due to her tummy issues. I don't know. I try to find relief when in pain or not feeling well. If I have stomach issues, I won't eat before I go somewhere. And, I make an appointment to find out what is wrong with my stomach. I'm sure they've told her it is IBS. I really think she'd rather sit at home and complain and whine how no one wants to visit her. Really? Out of my control, so.... I'll have to skip Curves tomorrow. My friend is working and both Dads are going golfing. No ride! It sucks being blind.... I keep thinking I need a horse that knows where to go! I can just imagine me and my horse pulling up to the college or Curves now! HeeHee! People around here are very judgemental. I can just imagine. Well, need to get my walks in today! Be safe if your weather is bad. But, it sounds like everyone is having a week of all 4 seasons! Just take care!

Teach Jack to drive? Sorry, being silly.

I'm glad you got back to Curves and that you are getting your walk in. There are usually place you can get free/low cost rides from. I know you live in a "Podunk town" (I believe that is what you called it) but they still might have something.

Horse sounds like a good idea... hee hee. What about CareGivers?!!? Do they have that out near you? I always think that would be a good help for my Mom.

Hope your MIL is better soon and you don't have to deal with it all.

Glad Tina called you and Thanked you!

Good luck tomorrow with your weigh in! WooHoo!

There is a google car, fully tested, that drives itself... Intended for people that are blind or otherwise disable. We have been following this remarkable development - since seeing in San Francisco last year, waiting for news for it to hit the market.

You need a horse and buggy with a driver. You know like Cinderella in the pumpkin coach!!!

Not surprised that the MIL is not feeling well. It has been a while since she has complained, so making up for lost time. (I hope you are not mad for my saying that.)

Today we had snow, sleet and rain. I don't know if anything is coming down now or if it is all going to freeze tonight. Thankfully, I don't have to work tomorrow.
