Slowly learning

Monday, January 28, 2013

Hi My friends!

I am slowly learning with the help of all of you and of spark Coach.

I have to keep accurate in my weight and inches, this helps control the Nutrition guidelines that spark sets in your nutrition tracker. It also helps if you can keep your fitness training as accurate as possible as well.

I went in and set everything as it measured this morning, and low and behold.

The tracker increased my calories, etc.

So again I have to eat more. Ok, I am slowly learning and it will eventually sink into my thick skull.

I also ordered and received my Fitbit today. Setting it up to track my fitness and hopefully give me that extra boost to get moving. It will!

If you want to friend me on it, let me know via spark mail and we will go from there.

Competition can be healthy! LOL!

So lets get moving my friends! I challenge you and in turn challenge myself to get more active and track those steps and activities.

Let's learn no matter how slowly about being honest with ourselves and staying on track.

Hugs and best wishes!

I've tried this a few times and now while tracking I am seeing the change. I never knew how many calories I ate, but while tracking, I see that I've been eating way too many when I didn't track. No wonder I gained so easily. It's easy with an extra 5-800 calories extra day. Almost 50lbs. a year gained. This is a great site with a lot of great resources and I too joined the coaching program and love it.

Best, Dave

Angela, Your an inspiration to me my dear. Congrats on the new fitbit! I hope to be joining the fitbit family soon.
So they want you to eat more? My nutrition calculator says I need between 1800 and 2100 calories a day and seems to change when I loose more than 2 lbs a week. When I feel like i've pigged on some days, i've only gotten about 1300. Does the spark coach take in an account that you can't eat as much with the lapband? Or do they still want you to find a way to increase?
Anyway, I love your motivation in busting through this plateau. Your really kicking some booty on this and the results will show!
Lots of love an hugs!

I am glad you will be eating more. You exercise like a fiend. All the indicators for me also indicate I should be taking in more calories... around 1200 to 1500 for Moderate activity to lose 1 lb/week. I am taking in just over 1000 most days. You would think the fat would be melting! Keep us posted on your progress.

Fitbit..... there is a fitbit team here on Spark with some good info and friends to make. Also on there is a Spark team! I will get you the info!

You will figure this thing out Ang! Love you.... xoxoxo Marg
