I was reading about diabetes prevention. The article recommended that 150 minutes of exercise can reduce a person's risk for developing diabetes. I don't know why that struck me- but it did.
The goal setting techniques have been helping me; both the long and short term. So, I decided to make it my goal to have 150 minutes of exercise- not including any walking at work.
I see myself still mollycoddling this new knee a bit, I will never get to goal weight if I do.
