My week 1

My week 1 went fairly well..I know I could have done better with Fitness...I had intentions to exercise but didnt..I did however keep busy with laundry and cleaning..My goal for this week is to walk 10 min each day on my Treadmill..If I happen to walk more then great..Ive decided that when Im struggling with wanting to eat that maybe the treadmill could become a tool to stop me from eating..Ive noticed that Tracking really does help alot...Sometimes I think I can keep track in my head but it dosnt work that way...Its nice to look at what you have tracked and to know you are going to stay in your calorie range...I was reading a book that had a chart to check off how many times a week you eat certain foods and I found out I eat too many fats..So now Im trying to cut back on fats..Im going to find a fatfree coffee creamer...I hope its as good...Ive also thought about trying Stevia..Have any of you tried this sweetner?? I think its all natural...low in calories..I dont want to waste any of my calories on creamer and sugar...I wish I could say I dont need coffee but without it I have NO energy..Im pretty excited to watch Biggest loser tONIGHT...Sad that there is only 1 left on the white team...So any way now that Ive rambled on I just want to say I did lose 3 pounds my first week ...Say Im really happy about that..My goal is to lose 1 to 2 pounds per week..SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE..For once IM not going to set high goals and IM going to just enjoy the progress with getting healthy...Because IM worth it...AS ITS MATT says Make it all about ME ME ME....WE are strong stronger than we thing..Make it a great SPARK week SPARKERS........ emoticon

    Yes! Go girl! 3 pounds is an excellent start for a first week. And yes tracking your food I found was a must until I really made the complete switch from diet weightloss to lifestyle change and then it started coming like second nature.
    The only time I really think I need to track to be sure is on the week end because I take the one day and make it what I call my change up day; to have something different, a treat from the regular diet all week. I track to keep myself within my ranges. I never over indulge. I've lost the 110 pounds doing it this way from day one. That and exercising at leas 45-60 minutes a day 5-6 days a week.
    And if after 50 years of struggling and fighting to find just the right key combinations that I would change that now? You couldn't pay me enough.
    It's the 90/10 rule of thumb 90% G-BOMBS 10% diary and carbs, fish sea food or chicken. The week end is when I indulge and have my 4 ounces of ether pork or beef And that's all she wrote.

    I know that stevia comes from the root of a plant, which grows
    in South America, and is naturally-sweet ! I think that it is low
    in calories, and would be a great sugar substitute !
