I've fallen and I have gotten up!

I slipped off the wagon, fell off the horse, hit the wall, did a free fall into the ditch and have gained weight. Can anyone think of any other descriptive phrases to indicate that I have gained weight?

Why have I added weight this year? Unofficially because I am an idiot who is not committed (and should be to an insane asylum).

I am now ready to get going again. I have not weighed myself in a while and will do so on Tuesday morning and post the damage.

Per the following Albert Einstein quote, “Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” I have been insane for a long time.

Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana.

General Warning to All:

I will be at the Gym this evening and I will once again start to post Exercise Minutes on a daily basis.

I will a post a sign with the following on my gym bag, “Do not stay near this individual when he is exercising. He contains harmful gas fumes that may be released. Stupidity is harmful to your health and may be contagious.”

    They say acceptance is the hardest thing. So Marty the rest should be easy. Get going and you will get it done.
As for your last comment...well drop off masks for your nearest exercise companions and tell them to watch while you 'blow' that weight away.

    Aah - Square One - I know it so well! Passed through it more times than you can imagine - counting I'm probably nearly old enough to be your mother. The main point is - pass through it and come out the other side. Exactly what you're doing - so good for you!
So the best of everything to you - keep us posted.

PS - Here in the UK one of the things we - well I say - re weight gain is 'I've piled it on'. You kinda need a context tho or it could mean anything! You may say the same in the US for all I know of course.
More emoticon for good luck - although of course we all know it's not luck at all - just very hard slog.

    one thing is your human.. and we make mistakes.. and is this going to be the last mistake you make?? nope.. have you learned from this mastake ? maybe so. will you know what to do the next time you think your headed for the cliff? yes..

    You got stuck in a rut ? That's what happened to me plenty of times. Luckily, the ruts are getting fewer and farther between.

No worries ! This is something that has happened to every single member of Spark at one time or another.

As the old song goes,"accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative". Have fun at the gym ! Try a class. How about Zumba ? That's not only a great workout, it's fun too.

    lol , don't be so mad , you'll do great again. we all do that , taht's why we're here. and no matter what naturally skinny people say , tracking all the time, not eating a ton of things that you like and not missing a workout even if you're dead tired , just to see a few pounds gone with the speed of the slowest snail is hard. I doubt they could do it either emoticon
