I'm Up!

Monday, January 28, 2013

I got up and out of bed this morning! Wow! That is so much progress!
I even made my bed! (I was afraid if I didn't I would get back in!)
I think I am on the way to feeling good again! Yippee!

Thanks to all my Spark friends for the Goodies and the messages. It is nice to know that I have friends out there in "Sparkland". Sometimes I get just so busy that I don't have time to get all messages answered personally.

One thing about being sick--it sure makes you appreciate being healthy! I rarely get sick and this year I have already had the 24 hour flu and now a nasty cold. I am very much reminded that I appreciate good health.

I am working on improving even the good health I have by becoming more fit with more exercise. My stamina is not what it used to be. At 73, I can no longer do what I could at 27! I hope to increase my stamina by regular exercise. I am currently trying to remember to wear my pedometer (a real challenge!) and to log between 5000 and 10000 steps every day. It will be a lot more fun to do this when the weather warms up and I can do it outside!

Have a nice day everyone! We are all making progress. Just lets keep the progress heading in the correct direction!

Glad you are up and about. I need to get my pedometer out, too. Especially since I was the one that revised that pedometer goal in the Geocaching Team.

Getting out of bed can be the hardest part of my day (cold apartment, warm bed... you know how it is!)

    Enjoy your day!
