Back to the grind, but reflection of the weekend

Good Morning and Happy Marvelous Monday to you!
I stepped on the scale this morning, scared to see the results but then BAM there it was... I was just a pound above where I started. So, I may not have been as good as I wanted to be over the weekend but it sure is progress! In theory, it is just water weight because I still haven't gotten into the habit of drinking more water on the weekends. That will be this weekend's goal, drink 8 glasses of water Saturday and Sunday.
Is this a sign or what?! I just got on my Facebook to check it out and one of my friends JUST posted this!
I will DEFINITELY be drinking MORE water since I got my sign lol.
This week should hopefully be a little easier. For some reason I have no ambition to cook, clean or do anything at the house. I better suck it up though, it has to get done and cooking at home is much healthier. Although, I did try spaghetti squash this weekend and it was actually pretty amazing! I think that will be my go to when I am craving spaghetti and meatballs! MMM yummy!
I didn't workout as much as I had hoped. Friday I forgot the office keys, so I had to wait for my dad to come with the key and I was meeting up with friends. Then Saturday I walked for 30 minutes, up and down... crosscountry. After that I went to our new building and cleaned for 8 hours. Phew... my legs were on FIRE! It did feel good! Yesterday was my lazy day, although we did go to a bridal show, lots of walking! Also, glad I ate before I went. Therefore, I was not hungry and kept off some more weight. This makes me realize how well I really am doing! Woohoo for change and a healthy lifestyle!
What is this weekend?! That's right, the Superbowl! I am excited but oh so dreading it all at the same time. We are having people over which means food and drinks galore! I am pretty sure I will be eating a hearty breakfast and a lunch filled with protein. Maybe a salad in between lunch and festivities to fight off any hunger pains and binging. I CAN do this... LOL!
I guess that is all I wanted to talk about. I just need to watch my calories on the weekend and drink more water!
