Monday Already?

Monday, January 28, 2013

I'd like 3 day weekends. Doesn't that seem civilized? Ah well, I also realize that working makes you appreciate the weekends all the more. My DH is semi-retired and I can tell, other than the fact that I'm free on the weekend, it all kind of blurs together for him.

So time to report in. My plan for last week was to ride my bike 4 times and do 60 minutes of yoga spread out over the week. Of course, my daily walking was expected and that I accomplished. emoticon

Biking? Went out 3 times not 4. Yoga? emoticon Really fell down on that one, instead of 60 minutes I stretched about 25 minutes over the week. It sure was a plus when I went to a class each week but I haven't found one that I like since my instructor closed up shop for a year.

I believe that if I had totally worked my plan I would have lost a pound but since I came up a little short, so did my weight loss. I had to settle for losing 1/2 pound. But at least it's something.

How did YOU do? We're heading into another week, a new chapter in our journeys. Let's ROCK this week! emoticon

3 Day Weekends sure sound good to me! DH is retired and thank goodness - he does all the shopping and cleaning so we can play as much as we can on weekends (otherwise it is school work for me).
Take that half a pound and run! I hope you find a new Yoga place soon!
Have a great week!

Yep, celebrate that half a pound!! Good going!!! I lost my last 30 pounds at an average of half a pound a week. They add up.

Setting goals is good. Working toward each one is progress. The walking is so automatic you don't even need a goal. Good job on that one!! Set some more, and go for it this week. You can do it!!

Hey! Half a pound is better than nothing, and certainly better than a gain in weight. Unfortunately I would be in the latter half (would kill to see 1/2 lb weight loss each week...) I've been meeting my exercise goals but have been slipping with my diet regimen. So it's not surprising that I am seeing gain in weight since our diets usually have an 80% influence on our body shapes and exercise only 20%.

No worries! I'm resolved to finish the month of January strong with both exercise AND diet on point.

Wishing you a productive week :D
