Yesterday morning my leg was feeling a little better so I thought I would go for a good 3-4 mile walk (no running). Well...I guess with the few uphill climbs and me pushing my personal walking speed limit, I done aggravated this leg situation all over again.
It was made clear that I'm not giving my knee/leg enough time to heal so I've decided to stop focusing on the cardio as much and be more mindful of the nutrition part of this journey until this pain simmers down some. (I'm hoping with a little self care I can avoid the doctor..but we shall see)
I spent a large part of the day Googling non-cardio exercises or cardio without using or limiting knee bending and I think I'm going to be alright. Most importantly I will be staying within my calorie range.
I just have to keep in mind what my cousin posted on Facebook recently -
"Diet makes a BIG difference. You lose weight in the kitchen and get in shape in the gym."
